About this newsletter...
Ritual Practice is a newsletter for esoteric creatives written by me, Andi Valentine. It was born as Soft Souls in February 2023 and has since evolved into its current form— a container that embodies the daily co-creative partnership of artists and their inspiration.
Originally I started writing here as a weekly practice of consistency. For me, keeping my focus on any one project has always been my main hurdle, and writing a weekly newsletter was my self-prescribed solution. It began as a form of navigating the resistance I had been feeling around not only making art, but self-expression in general in the midst of a growing creator economy.
Since the newsletter began, I’ve moved through every feeling under the sun (and moon) and tried to write about it here, citing the influence of the moment via astrology and lunar events.
Ritual Practice, its new form, is a fuller expression of where this work is going. I dive into the depths weekly— both personal and collective— dropping a newsletter as frequently as I’m called to. Thank you for evolving with me.
