Hi, happy Sunday :)

I’m sitting at my desk in a recently re-arranged studio listening to solfeggio frequencies in my headphones. I lit a candle and put it right in front of my computer to remind me that I am focusing my energy on writing this newsletter right now and that I should try not to allow myself to get distracted.

Being distracted has been my #1 job in the last week, although I’ve tried to make it work for me the best I can. And by that I mean, sometimes harnessing your excess energy just isn’t happening and can’t be forced. There’s too much. There’s no hiding from it. So I just let it happen until I realize I’ve been mindlessly refreshing pages for too long, my body is tight, and I haven’t had a sip of water in 3 hours. I take a sip, I re-direct, and I shift the energy. Or else, I just surrender to my busy mind until I manage to fall asleep.

The full moon on Wednesday was one of the more intense moons we’ve seen in a while. It was a supermoon, it was a blue moon, and it was in Pisces. It was tender, deep, detached, and it drained me. It also gave me some of the most insightful clarity that I’ve ever had around my life’s work, one of those weeks where all of the puzzle pieces of my life started to really make sense.

As much as I hate to blame the moon, I was depleted for days after while also being in the throws of all of the work, connections, creativity, opportunities, and job interviews that came my way at the end of the week. It’s Sunday, and I’m just now feeling like I got enough rest, but I’m definitely still processing.

Full moons represent culminations, heightened energy,
clarification (whether you like it or not), and endings.

Nothing compares to the energy of the days that follow, newly equipped with the knowledge that we have the information we need to continue on. When there’s such a powerful celestial pull occurring, it affects our bodies in all ways.

If anyone else turned into a werewolf and howled at the moon all night (or for the 2-3 days surrounding), you’re not alone, and thank you for doing whatever you needed to do this week.

Now is hopefully a time of relief and integration.
